Trip Highlights

Day 1/ September 23 Friday = QAIA–Amman 40 km

Upon arrival at the airport or Border crossing meet our representative, (Holding a sign with your name on for identification) after a warm welcome, our representative will collect your passport to facilitate the issuance of your visa. After completion of formalities, proceed to identify your luggage before they are loaded on carts to be taken out to the coach for loading. Drive North to the capital city of Amman. Check-in at Centro Rotana hotel or similar to freshen up. Transfer in the evening to Fakheriddine for an authentic Lebanese dinner


Day 2 / September 24 Saturday= Amman city tour – Jerash – Amman (B) 175km

After Breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a City tour of Amman visiting the Citadel, then drive downtown to the amphitheater for a visit before driving north for about 1 hour to the Roman Decapolis of Jerash. There you will hear a story by the Caesar dressed in the traditional Roman dress before enjoying your special tour. Lunch at the Lebanese restaurant. Return to Amman. Day 3 /September 25 Sunday= Amman – As Salt – Hotel inspection

After Breakfast at the hotel, take a thirty-minute road trip towards the west of Amman to visit the ancient town of As-Salt. Once the most important settlement in the area between the Jordan Valley and the Eastern Desert. Because of its history as an important trading link, it was a significant place for the region’s many rulers. Take a walk around the old town and explore the narrow streets, museums (archaeological & folklore), and visit a handicraft school where you can admire the traditional skills of ceramics, weaving, silk-screen printing and dyeing. Enjoy lunch at the home of a local family and experience their way of life, socialize and enjoy home cooking. Return to Amman. Dinner at JR experience. Enjoy award winning wine made in Jordan, along with custom designed dishes made by the famous Jordanian Chef Sale Aqrabawi. Return to the hotel overnight.


Day 4/September 26 Sunday=Amman – Madaba –King’s way –Petra 360 km (B/L/D)

Breakfast check out and drive south, to Madaba (Mosaic map of Jerusalem in the church of St. George). Then drive along the King’s way south toward Petra. Learn how to make an authentic Jordanian dish at Petra Kitchen. check in at Elite hotel to freshen up. Then visit specific hotels in the area before a special dinner with a local family.

Day 5/September 27 Monday = Petra & Wadi Rum (B/L/D)

Breakfast. Start your day from the visitor’s center, ride your horse to the Dam (optional), dismount and walk along the Siq towards the Treasury, the Roman Theater, the Court, the Roman Columns, to the Basin. Lunch At the Basin restaurant. After lunch return Back to the visitor’s center, to drive to Wadi Rum. Enjoy the sunset while sipping tea and listening to a bedouin flute player in the background. Overnight at Bait Ali camp in a private chalet with private bath & A/C & communal swimming pool. Special Dinner and overnight

Day 6 /September 28 Tuesday = Wadi Rum & Dead Sea (B/L) 170km

After Breakfast, enjoy a 4-hour 4x4 jeep tour of Wadi Rum visiting Lawrence wall, drawings on the walls, and other sites of natural significance. Lunch at a Bedouin camp then drive to the Dead Sea Spa hotel to arrive before 18:00. Special event dinner.


Day 7/September 29 Thursday = Dead Sea – Baptism Site –QAIA (B/L) 135 km
 

After Breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a swim in the soothing waters of the Dead Sea, located at the lowest point on earth. Then after showering, check-out and have a buffet lunch overlooking the sea. Take a short drive along the Jordan Valley north to visit the Baptism Site. Follow the footsteps of Jesus down to the banks of the Jordan, where He humbled Himself for baptism by the prophet who proclaimed Jesus the Light of all mankind, the Living Word and the Lamb of God. Explore the Old and New Testament events before departing for a one-hour drive to the Airport. Our Rep. will be waiting for you to check in with the Airlines, then bid you farewell at immigration.
